Google API Services (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center)
Use and Transfer of Information: Uptmz’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access to Google User Data:
Uptmz accesses your Google user data to provide the services you’ve requested. Specifically, Uptmz connects to your Google account to retrieve live data required for the operation of our services.
Google merchant Center
Whenever you connect your Google Merchant Center account to Uptmz, behind the scenes you provide consent to Uptmz to let us ‘impersonate’ you. More specifically, a refresh token containing the Google scopes you have provided consent for is created such that Uptmz can access your Google Merchant Center data in your name whenever this is required for the operation of our services. Because you have specifically provided consent for the Google scopes presented to you in the Google OAuth screen, we cannot access any user information unrelated to these scopes.
Usage of Google User Data:
The Google user data accessed by Uptmz is not sent to any third parties that employ, or used in combination with, AI models.
Google Merchant Center
The consent you have provided in the previous step is used for two purposes:
- Retrieve all of the Google Merchant Center account you have access to, so we can show all of your accounts for you to select which account to use in Uptmz.
- Retrieve all of the products in your selected Google Merchant Center account, to show live product information.
Storage of Google User Data:
Uptmz stores your Google user data securely on our servers. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Google Merchant Center
The only data that is stored, is the refresh token generated and described in the previous section ‘How do we access your data?’, in combination with the Google Merchant Center account ID you have selected in the section ‘How do we use your data?’. With these two variables, Uptmz is able to access the Google Merchant Center data required for the operation of our services.
Sharing of Google User Data:
Uptmz does not share your Google user data with any third parties except as necessary to provide our services, comply with the law, or protect our rights. When sharing is necessary, we ensure that any third parties have equivalent privacy and security measures in place.
User Control and Data Retention:
You have control over your Google user data and can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings. Uptmz retains your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services to you, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Google access scopes that we use:
Scopes you provide consent for when activating the corresponding Uptmz integration:
Google Ads = “https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords”, to connect your Google Ads account to our MCC.
Google Analytics
– “https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly”, to retrieve your Google Analytics accounts.
