As an Accountmanager Business Development
- You are responsible for expanding our partner network and acquiring new merchants.
- You are a born networker. You can effortlessly convince potential customers of our added value.
- You are proactive towards new customers in improving their online visibility.
What you are going to do
As an Accountmanager in the commercial team at Uptmz, you will have a very active role. Besides collecting quality leads, you will also start your own sales conversations with potential merchants. In these conversations your creativity and our USP’s will bring you to the next step. During the acquisition of new leads you see ‘no’ as an opportunity and your advice ensures a good long-term relationship.
You report your progress and challenges during the weekly sales meeting. Together with your supervisor you ensure that the space for freedom and creativity is used as effectively as possible. Due to the explosive growth of the platform, you will gain a lot of insight into existing customers and segments. You can use this insight to further expand your own network.
Specifically, you will:
- Make contact with interesting potential clients. Acquisition is in your DNA!
- Support the preparation of attractive pitches and proposals.
- Make suggestions to improve the process.
- Connecting new merchants.
- Bringing in new partners.
Of course you will be supported in the above by your fellow Account Managers. They will guide you as much as possible in the daily practice of direct and indirect sales and thus increasing the success of Uptmz.

- HBO/WO work and thinking level
- You have affinity with sales & digital marketing.
- Strong communication skills; You are not afraid to address (potential) customers. (Tele)sales experience is an advantage.
- You preferably have feeling for language and (commercial) texts.
- You work autonomously but integrate smoothly into a team and are focused on good cooperation with colleagues;
- You have a great sense of responsibility, are analytical and structured.
